Chaoyang Town, belonging to Huinan County, Tonghua City, Jilin Province, is located in the northwest of Huinan County, bordering Huinan town in the East, Loujie Korean Township and shengshuihe town in Liuhe County in the south, niuxinding town and Xinhe Town in Meihekou city in the west, and tuanlin town in the north. It is the residence of the county people's government. The total area is 184.9 square kilometers.
In 1878, Chaoyang town was established as Hailong mansion; in February 2005, gaojigang and Pinganchuan towns were merged into Chaoyang town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Chaoyang town was 116678. As of June 2020, Chaoyang town has 18 administrative villages and the people's Government of Chaoyang town is located in liuchuankou.

History of construction
In 1878, Chaoyang town was set up, belonging to Hailong mansion. Xuantong first year of the Qing Dynasty (1909), is Huinan Zhili hall.
In 1913, it belonged to Hailong county. In 1943, it belonged to the puppet Huinan County.
In 1958, it was changed into Chaoyang commune.
In 1986, Chaoyang town commune was changed into Chaoyang town.
In November 2001, Shuangfeng township was merged into Chaoyang town.
In February 2005, gaojigang and Pinganchuan towns were merged into Chaoyang town.
In 2011, Chaoyang town had 7 communities: Dongjie, Xinggong, Fuqiang, Gongnong, Aiguo, Tai'an and Huayuan, and 24 administrative villages: Chengdong, Chengxi, Dongfeng, Huashu, shidingzi, Xijiao, Xinli, Xiangyang, Xingde, Ping'an, Xinsheng, Guochuan, Changsheng, Jinshan, Tuanjie, gaojigang, Hongqi, Rizhao, Yongsheng, linjiagou, majialing, Wangjiatun, WUJIATUN and Changqing There are 40 resident groups and 84 villager groups.
