Nancheng street, belonging to Aksu City, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the urban area of Aksu. In September 1999, Nancheng sub district office of Aksu city was established. At the beginning of 2000, Nancheng sub district office had 6 neighborhood committees and 34 neighborhood groups. In November 2001, nine community neighborhood committees were established. In 2006, with the reform of community system in Aksu City, the original 9 communities were integrated into 5 communities. As of October 2019, Nancheng street has six communities under its jurisdiction.
In 2011, Nancheng street had 12 large-scale industrial enterprises with 1357 employees, realizing an industrial added value of 270 million yuan, an increase of 19% over the previous year.
