Longquan Town
Longquan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Mentougou District, Beijing, is located between 115 ° 59'55 "~ 116 ° 07'00" E and 39 ° 54'23 "~ 40 ° 00'10" n. It is located in the east of Mentougou District, bordering Guangning street of Shijingshan District in the East, Yongding town and tanzhesi town in the south, Wangping town in the west, Wangping town and Miaofengshan town in the north and Junzhuang town in the northeast. The town covers an area of 30.8 square kilometers.
After liberation, Longquan area was called Mentougou town. In 1958, Mentougou people's commune was established. In December 1983, Mentougou commune was transformed into a township. In 1990, Mentougou township was changed into Longquan town. By the end of 2018, Longquan had 25585 registered residence. As of October 2019, Longquan town has 16 communities and 17 administrative villages, and the town government is located at 23 Mentougou road.
In 2011, Longquan town produced 213.4 tons of grain, 94 kg per capita. The fruit planting area is 695 mu, the output is 85 tons, and the per capita net income of farmers is 18382 yuan. The total revenue was 73.69 million yuan. From the perspective of major taxes, business tax was 29.9 million yuan, value-added tax was 14.76 million yuan and enterprise income tax was 5.22 million yuan, an increase of 55%, 3% and 9% respectively over the previous year.

Longquan town is located in the eastern edge of Daxi mountain in Beijing. It is the Yumai of Xiaowutai in Taihang mountain system. It has Yongding River in the East, Nandaling in the south, Fengkou nunnery in the west, Jiulong Mountain and xiangyuliang in the north. Sanjiadian, Liuliqu and Chengzi are located at the exit of Yongding River. The terrain is divided into piedmont plain, low hills and valleys.
