Hekou town
Hekou Town, subordinate to Yunnan county, Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, is located in the south of Yunnan county, 73 kilometers away from the county seat. It connects Songgui town and Baishi town of yun'an District in the East, Dawan Qianguan town in the west, Liantan town in the north and Pingtang town of Luoding City in the south.
Hekou town belongs to the south subtropical monsoon climate, with abundant light and rainfall, and obvious four seasons. The town is mostly hilly and mountainous, and the soil is mainly acid red soil. Hakka and Minnan dialect are popular in some villages of the town. Hekou town covers a total area of 76.5 square kilometers, with 23000 mu of arable land and 65000 mu of mountainous area. It governs 11 villages and 1 community. In 2017, the total population was 24348. Hekou town's economy is dominated by agriculture. In 2018, the total industrial output value of the town was 49 million yuan, the total agricultural output value was 250 million yuan, and the tax revenue was 4.2 million yuan.

The origin of place names
Nanjiang river flows into the territory from west to East. Baishi river flows into the middle of the town from southeast and then flows into Nanjiang river. Because the town is on the Bank of the confluence of the two rivers, it is named Hekou.
Evolution of administrative districts
Ming and Qing dynasties belong to Hekou fort of Jiankang capital. At the beginning of the Republic of China, Sanbao township was called the eighth district. In the late period of the Republic of China, Liantan district was merged with Xiba and Tian'an townships. At the beginning of liberation, it was called Hekou administrative village. In 1953, it was renamed Hekou township. In 1958, it was a jurisdiction of Dongfeng people's commune. In 1961, it was separated from Dongfeng people's Commune and established Hekou people's commune. In 1983, it was called estuary area. It was named Hekou town in 1987.

The central area of Hekou town is located at 111 ° 43 ′ E and 22 ° 52 ′ n, in the south of Yunnan county, at the junction of Luoding and Yunfu. It borders Songgui town and Baishi town of yun'an District in the East, Dawan Qianguan town in the west, Liantan town in the north and Pingtang town in Luoding City in the south. The town seat is 75.2km away from the county seat, 8km away from Liantan town and 37km away from Nanjiangkou port. The jurisdiction area of the town is 73.67 square kilometers, ranking 14th among the 18 towns in the county.

Agriculture
The mountainous area of Hekou town is mostly hilly area, with low Mantou mountain in the majority. It is suitable for continuous development of planting and breeding industry, and agricultural economy occupies an important position. Agricultural products mainly include rice, corn, peanut, cassava, sericulture, fruit, onion and garlic, seedless yellow skin, Luzon mango and cocoon. It is one of the cocoon production bases in Yunan County.
In 2011, there were 1500 hectares of Litchi in the town, and seedless wampee was included in the provincial "one Township, one product" supporting development project, with an area of 300 hectares. The area of sericulture is 366.67 hectares. With an annual output of 1600 tons of fresh cocoons and an output value of 20 million yuan, it is one of the cocoon production bases in Yunan County. In 2011, more than 380 large chicken farms signed production and marketing contracts with Wenshi group, and 15 pig farms with more than 100 pig stocks. There are more than 50 households planting more than 1 hectare per year, more than 450 households planting more than 0.67 hectare per year, and 1005 households specializing in mulberry planting and silkworm rearing. The total output value of agriculture was 223.59 million yuan, an increase of 13.8% over 2010; the per capita net income of farmers was 7202 yuan, an increase of 820 yuan over 2010; the income of village collective economy was 475200 yuan, an increase of 18.5% over 2010.
In 2018, 6200 mu of the whole town will be designated as the grain production functional area, and the red line of grain production land will be designated. We will promote the techniques of Jinhuang Mang, Luzon Mang, seedless wampee and litchi high level replanting, and invite agricultural experts from provinces, cities and counties to carry out special crop skills training classes and technology promotion field meetings in the town. Two new jinhuangmang bases and one high grafting base of litchi were built, and the newly developed citrus planting area was 250 mu, of which 110 Mu was a new mode of Interplanting fruit trees with watermelon.
Industry
Hekou town has introduced lichitang brick factory, Ganluo breeding farm, jintaihua plastic factory, qiaohui clothing pearl embroidery factory, Xinchao knitting factory, fengplastic raw material factory, Yuyu lighting factory, Guoxiong leather factory, Hekou Fuda sand brick factory, Hekou fengyumian textile factory and other enterprises. At the same time, it has transformed and upgraded the original red brick factory to oil shale environmental protection brick. In 2011, the total industrial output value was 135.67 million yuan, an increase of 11.2% over 2010.

Hekou town to achieve the hard bottom of the village road. The provincial daodezhu line is 11.5 kilometers across the territory, 20 kilometers from Luoding City in the west, connecting National Highway 324, Nanjiangkou port in Xijiang River in the East, 40 kilometers from Deqing County, connecting National Highway 321. The Hekou section of the Heping line is 12 km long and has been transformed into a secondary cement road. Yuncen expressway runs through zhutouwei, LvHua, Huilong, Nanlong and four villages, with a total length of 9.93 km. There is an expressway entrance at shenlongkou at the junction of LvHua and zhutouwei.
In 2018, hekouzhai village road is hard bottomed for 2.1km, and hekouzhai to youmakeng, hekouzhai to Qidong bridge, hekouzhai baiyinqian Village Road widening project is 9.8km in total. The upgrading and reconstruction project of the old Heping line has been basically completed; the approach bridge of Erhe bridge is under intensive construction, and it is planned to be opened to traffic by the end of 2019.

Famous specialty
Luzon Mang and seedless wampee are famous specialties of Hekou town. Yunan is "the land of Seedless yellow skin in China". Seedless wampee has been planted for more than one hundred years and is one of the rare fruits in Guangdong Province.
Historical sites
Modaoshan site in Yunnan county was found in January 2013, located in Hedu village, Hekou Town, Yunfu City. Modao mountain is located in the northeast margin of Nanjiang basin. It is a "fourth terrace" on the North Bank of South Jiangxi Province, about 500 meters away from the modern riverbed. The discovery was approved by the State Administration of cultural relics. From April to July 2014, Guangdong Provincial Institute of cultural relics and archaeology, School of archaeology, culture and Museum of Peking University, Yunfu Museum and Yunnan county museum jointly excavated the modaoshan site.
