Jiahui town

Jiahui Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Gongcheng Yao Autonomous County, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the northeast of Gongcheng Yao Autonomous County, bordering rough Shijiang Town, Jiangyong County, Hunan Province in the East, Xiling town in the west, Ping'an Township in the south, Longhu Township and Limu town in the north, with an administrative area of 23710 hectares. Jiahui township was established in 1934, belonging to the third district. On September 14, 2015, Jiahui township was set up as a town. By the end of 2017, the total number of registered residence in Jiahui town was 7875, with a total population of 26575. Among them, 11776 were Yao people, accounting for 44.3% of the total population. As of the end of 2019, 1 communities and 13 administrative villages were under the jurisdiction of the town government.

In 2017, the per capita net income of farmers in Jiahui town was 6950 yuan; 2.027 million yuan of fiscal revenue was completed, including 1.818 million yuan of state tax and 209 000 yuan of local tax; 930 million yuan of fixed assets investment was completed, 83 million yuan of industrial fixed assets investment was completed, and 10 million yuan of industrial technological transformation investment was completed; 30 million yuan of investment was attracted, including 8 million yuan of new projects.

History of construction

Jiahui township was established in 1934, belonging to the third district.

On September 1, 1958, Jiahui commune was merged with Longhu township.

In the second half of 1962, it was renamed Jiahui district. In January 1969, it was renamed Jiahui commune.

In July 1984, Jiahui township was re established, with 15 villagers' committees and 1 neighborhood committee.

In 1987, the village committee was transformed into a village office.

In September 1989, the two village offices of Longhu and Shizi were assigned to the newly established Longhu township. At the end of the same year, Jiahui Township set up 13 village offices, 1 neighborhood committee and 65 village committees.

In December 1995, the village office was replaced by the village committee, and the original village committee was no longer retained.

On September 14, 2015, Jiahui township was set up as a town.

In 2005, Jia Hui Township, Bai Yan, Republic, Taiping, Jiahui, jiishan, Zhi you, Subei, southwest, Yangjia, Sian, Song Lin, Dashan, white sheep 13 villagers' committees and Jia * Street neighborhood committees, and 224 villagers' groups.

By the end of 2019, Jiahui town has one community and 13 administrative villages, 112 natural villages and 244 villager groups, and the town government is located in Jiahui street.

It has 13 power stations that can be developed with a total installed capacity of 15300 kilowatts. Five of them have been developed with an installed capacity of 2500 kilowatts, and a 35000 volt substation has been built.

Jiahui town has a second-class highway from Quanzhou to Shasha town of Pingle County, a provincial road leading to Hunan Province, a county road running through the whole area, and a highway connecting every village.

By the end of 2017, Jiahui town had 11 kindergartens with 30 teachers and 660 students; 13 primary schools with 125 teachers and 1760 students; and one junior middle school with 60 teachers and 831 students. During the year, 22 students were admitted to national middle school and 16 students were admitted to Gongcheng middle school. In 2017, Jiahui town invested more than 400000 yuan to build a new Jishan village level cultural center with a total collection of more than 20000 books.
