Changfeng town
Changfeng town is a town under the jurisdiction of Wanning City, Hainan Province. It is located in the west of Wanning City, adjacent to Wancheng town in the East, Xinlong overseas Chinese farm and Sangengluo in the west, Liji town across the river in the South and Damao town in the north. There are two fairs under the jurisdiction of Changfeng Town: Changfeng market and Niulou market. There are 12 administrative villages and 2 Town farms, 199 natural villages and 163 villager groups. The land area is 218 square kilometers and the population is 65809. Six administrative villages and one town farm in the West are inhabited by Li and Miao people, while six administrative villages and one town farm in the East are inhabited by Han people.
Changfeng town has a tropical monsoon climate with mild seasons. The annual average temperature is 24.4 ℃ and the rainfall is 1800 mm. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. The mountains and hills are in the West and North, Wanning reservoir is the third largest reservoir in the province in the south, and plain is in the middle.

Changfeng commune was established in 1958, township was changed in 1982, and Changfeng town was established in 1985. In 1997, with an area of 78.6 square kilometers and a population of 40000, it has jurisdiction over 24 administrative villages including Changfeng, Xihao village, Donghao village, Huangzhuang, fugezhuang, Chongcun, Wangzhuang, Shaozhuang, Yuanzhuang, Beizhuang, changnanfeng village, Changfeng Dongzhuang, Yangtun, Beizhang village, koujia village, Jinyuan Village, Liucun, hujiatun, Gaotun, caicun, Nanzhang village, Tiankou, suojing and Sunzhuang.
Changfeng: according to historical records, the village was built in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. Li Feng City was set up in the 19th year of Kaiyuan (AD 731) of Tang Dynasty. In the same year, it was renamed Changfeng City, named after Changfeng canal. In the first year of Xining of Song Dynasty, the city was abandoned and called Changfeng. The village is a big market in our city.
Xihao Village: it was built in the middle of Ming Dynasty. Some people moved out of Donghao village and built the building here, so it was named Xihao village.
Donghao Village: it was built in the early Ming Dynasty. Hao village was named after his surname. Later, some people moved out and built another village in the west of the village, so it was renamed Donghao village.
Huangzhuang: at the beginning of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, people surnamed Huang moved from Xuanhua prefecture to settle here, so it was named Huangzhuang.
Fugezhuang: it was built in Yongle period of Ming Dynasty. From Hongdong City, Shanxi Province, Huang and Chen families moved to build a village on a man's Tuge River (such as Tushan), hence the name fugezhuang.
Chongcun: it was built in the early Ming Dynasty. Wang and Li, who moved from Hongdong City, Shanxi Province, set up a small village each. Later, because the two villages got along well, they merged into one village and named it Chongcun.
Wangzhuang: the village was built in the second year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (1404 AD). They moved from Hongdong City, Shanxi Province to live here, named Wangzhuang.
Shaozhuang: built in the early Ming Dynasty, the village was named Shaozhuang after its surname.
Yuanzhuang: according to the inscription, the village was built in the seventh year of Kaiyuan (719 A.D.). Yuan Daogang built the village here, so it was named Yuanzhuang.
Beizhuang: the village was built in the early Ming Dynasty. Because it is located in the northeast of Changfeng, it is named Beizhuang.
Nanzhuang, Changfeng: built in the early Ming Dynasty. Because it is located in the south of Changfeng, it is called Nanzhuang in Ming Dynasty. In December 1981, it was renamed Nanzhuang, Changfeng.
Changfeng Dongzhuang: built in the early Ming Dynasty. It is located in the east of Changfeng, so it is called Dongzhuang. In December 1981, it was renamed Changfeng Dongzhuang.
Yangtun: the village was built in the early Ming Dynasty. Named after Yang tun. The village is divided into three groups.
Beizhang Village: built in Song Dynasty. In the middle of Ming Dynasty, some people moved out and built another village in the south of the village. The village was named Nanzhang village, so it was renamed Beizhang village.
Koujia Village: it was built in the early Ming Dynasty. It was named koujia village after its surname.
Jinyuan Village: built in the middle of Qing Dynasty. Moved from Shenyang, the bannermen settled here with the Royal rope and horse race, so it was named Jinyuan Village.
Liucun: it was built in Ming Dynasty. Because of the surname Mao, Jiancun is named Liucun.
Hujia Village: built in Ming Dynasty. It was named Hujia village by surname.
Gaotun: in the early Yongle period of Ming Dynasty, the right Gao family built a village here, so it was named Gaotun.
Caicun: built in the early Song Dynasty. Because the surname Cai first lived here, it was named Cai Cun. At the beginning of the construction of the village, the main street was built. Later, due to the increase of surnames, the village gradually developed to the south. There were Kou, Xing and Wang's small streets. Later, because the pronunciation of "Xiang" and "hang" was similar, it was called Kou hang and so on. The village is divided into four groups.
Nanzhang: the village was built in the middle of Ming Dynasty. At that time, Gu, Liu and other surnames moved from Zhang village to Nanjian village, so they were named Nanzhang village.
Taguchi: the village was built in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. At that time, there were only eight families. They originally lived in Jinyuan Village. They were forced to come here by the banners. The village dug a well with sweet water, so it was named Tiankou village. Later, it was changed to Tiankou village.
Suojing: the village was built in the early Song Dynasty. Formerly known as Huanglong port. According to Renqiu City annals, "huanglonggang is located in suojing village in the east of the city, which is named after Huanglong seeing the well.".
Sunzhuang: the village was built in the middle of the Qing Dynasty. At that time, because the sun family first lived in the village, it was named Sunzhuang.
