Baicao Village
Baicao village, belonging to Yu County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Yu County, with yongquanzhuang Township in the East, Nanliuzhuang town in the south, Yangjun town in the West and Yangyuan County in the north. It is 22 kilometers away from the people's Government of Yu County, with a total area of 122 square kilometers.
In 1928, Baicao village belonged to Yu County; in 1984, Baicao commune was changed into Baicao village. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Bai Cao village was 8692. As of June 2020, Baicao village has one community and 21 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is stationed in Baicao village.

History of construction
In 1928, Baicao village belonged to Yuxian district. In 1944, it was divided into eight districts of Guangling County, Shanxi Province. In 1946, it was transferred back to Yu County. In 1948, it was divided into two districts and ten districts.
In 1953, wangjialiang (now West wangjialiang), Wucha, louziwan and dajiuwutou were established.
In 1956, it belonged to Shuiyu and Wucha townships respectively.
In 1958, it belonged to warm spring commune.
In September 1961, it separated from Nuanquan commune and established Baicao commune.
In 1984, Baicao commune was changed into Baicao village.
