Nanzhuang Town, Lixian County town under the jurisdiction of Lixian County, Baoding, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Lixian County, northwest 10 kilometers from the county seat, east to North * nanntou Township, West to the Chengwei town of Bo County, Nanping County, nun County, north of chi long river, the largest distance from the jurisdiction area is 4 kilometers, the north and the South distance is 10 km, and the total area is 69.3 square kilometers. Nanzhuang Town is named after the township government's residence in Nanzhuang village. Nanzhuang township was built in 1953. In 1958, Nanzhuang people's commune was rebuilt. In 1984, Nanzhuang township was rebuilt. In August 19, Nanzhuang Town was rebuilt. As of June 2020, Nanzhuang Town has jurisdiction over 27 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Nanzhuang village. Nanzhuang Town is the planting site of yam in Lixian County, a national geographical indication product of China.
In 2013, the total agricultural output value of Nanzhuang Town was 368 million yuan, the per capita net income of farmers was 3895 yuan, and the total industrial output value was 247 million yuan. It has been more than 2000 years since yam was planted in Li county. Lixian yam, stick medicine: regular stem, uniform thickness, about 50 cm long. The root is fine and long, the mouth is short, about 10 to 15 cm, the skin is thin, the quality is crisp, the flesh is white, the mucus is thick, can pull out the fine silk, the taste is soft, sweet, crisp, tender and refreshing, and can be used for both medicine and food.
