Baima Township
Baima Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Yi County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Yi County, adjacent to Qiaotou Township in the East, Yizhou town in the south, lianggezhuang town in the West and Liujing Township in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 26 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 8.1 kilometers, with a total area of 70.02 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total population of Baima Township registered residence was 16728.
In 1961, Baima commune was established. In 1984, it was rebuilt into Baima township. As of June 2020, Baima township has jurisdiction over 18 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in zhongbaima village.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Baima township was 40 million yuan. The total fiscal revenue was 1.25 million yuan, an increase of 10% over the previous year, of which the local fiscal revenue was 650000 yuan, an increase of 5% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 17 industrial enterprises in Baima Township, including 2 large-scale enterprises and 27 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
