Dazhuang town
Dzhuang Town, a county in Tianshui, Gansu, is located in the northwest of Gangu County, located in the northwest of Gangu county. It borders on the West and the East. It connects eight Li Wan Town and Xiping town in the south, and the west is adjacent to Xiangnan Township in Tongwei county. It connects with Wang Pu town in Qinan county and Xiangnan Township in Tongwei County, Dingxi, with an area of 107.12 square kilometers, and in 2018, the registered residence population was 20375.
In the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty (1573-1619), jiuquanli (now Xijia Dazhuang Village) was set up. In 1916, Tongwei county was divided into five districts, 56 villages and Dazhuang village. In November 1949, Dazhuang township was established. In December 1983, the commune was changed into a township and the organizational system of Dazhuang Township People's government was restored. In October 2015, Dazhuang township was removed and Dazhuang town was established. As of June 2020, Dazhuang town has 18 administrative villages.
In 2018, Dazhuang town has three comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty (1573-1619), jiuquanli (now Xijia Dazhuang Village) was set up.
In 1916, Tongwei county was divided into five districts, 56 villages and Dazhuang village.
In 1929, Tongwei county set up Dazhuang town in 6 districts and 25 towns.
In the 37th year of the Republic of China (1948), the district system was abolished. Tongwei county had jurisdiction over 14 towns (townships) and set up Dazhuang town.
In November 1949, Dazhuang township was established.
In the autumn of 1950, Dazhuang Township and Anyuan District were under the jurisdiction of Gangu County.
In March 1951, Dazhuang township was under the jurisdiction of Anyuan District.
In June 1952, Dazhuang township was under the jurisdiction of Xiping district.
In December 1952, Dazhuang township was divided into Dazhuang Township, fujiahe Township and datanzi township.
In December 1953, Dazhuang township was divided into Dazhuang Township and xijiaju township.
In November 1955, fujiahe township was merged into Dazhuang township.
In August 1956, Xiping district was withdrawn, Dazhuang Township and xijiaju Township were merged into Dazhuang Township, which was under the jurisdiction of Anyuan District.
In June 1957, Xiping district was established in remote areas, and Dazhuang township was under the jurisdiction of Xiping district.
In April 1958, Xiping township was set up in Xiping District, and Dazhuang Township, Chengzi Township and Lianhuatai Township were merged into Dazhuang township.
In September 1958, the township was removed and the people's commune management committee was established. Dazhuang Township and Xiping Township were merged into Dazhuang people's commune management committee.
In December 1958, Gangu County, Wushan County and Zhangxian county were merged, the organizational system of Gangu County was abolished, Dazhuang commune was merged into Jinshan commune, and Dazhuang District of Jinshan commune was established.
In December 1961, the organizational system of Gangu County and Dazhuang people's commune management committee was restored.
In January 1962, the working committee of Dazhuang district was established, which has jurisdiction over five people's commune management committees of Dazhuang, xijiaju, houchuangou, Yanzhen and Xiping. In June, it has jurisdiction over two people's commune management committees of Chengzi and Majiahe.
In October 1968, the working committee of Dazhuang district was removed, and the two communes of Chengzi and xijiaju were merged into Dazhuang commune, initially forming the current pattern of Dazhuang township.
In October 1976, the Management Committee of Dazhuang people's commune was renamed the Revolutionary Committee of Dazhuang people's commune.
In May 1981, the Revolutionary Committee of Dazhuang people's commune was renamed the revolutionary (Management) Committee of Dazhuang commune.
In December 1983, the commune was changed into a township and the organizational system of Dazhuang Township People's government was restored.
In October 2015, Dazhuang township was removed and Dazhuang town was established. After the change from township to town, the system of town governing village was implemented, and its administrative region and government station remained unchanged.

Dazhuang town is located in Liupan mountain system, which is a low mountain area eroded by earth and stone. It is a ridge framework formed by tertiary clay rock. Maoerding (the original microwave station) is 2069 meters above sea level, which is the highest point in the town.
