Gucheng
Gucheng Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Heshui County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Heshui County, bordering duanjiaji Township and Panke township of Ningxian County in the south, xihuachi town in the west, TAIE Township and dianzi Township in the northwest, with a total administrative area of 312.84 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the second class of donghuachili in Heshui County; in April 1983, it was reformed and consolidated in urban and rural areas. In 2019, Gucheng and Rucheng will withdraw villages and build towns. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the urban area was 9829. In June 2020, Gucheng will be under the jurisdiction of four administrative villages and another village level unit.
In 2018, Gucheng has one industrial enterprise and four comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters. In 2019, Gucheng will attract 150 million yuan of investment, 150000 yuan of fiscal revenue, 17669 mu of grain planting area and 6660.4 tons of total grain output, transfer 3100 surplus labor force (Times), and achieve 78.29 million yuan of labor income and 9871.41 yuan of per capita disposable income for farmers.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the second class of donghuachili in Heshui county.
In 1912, it was the Fourth District of Heshui county.
When Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia border region was established, it belonged to dianzi District of Heshui county.
In April 1947, after the KMT occupied it, it belonged to dianzi township.
In July 1949, shengdianzi District belonged to it.
In October 1958, jiangdianzi Township belonged to it; then Hongqi commune was established to belong to it; at the end of the same year, Heshui county was abolished and belonged to Ningxian county.
In July 1961, Gucheng commune was established.
In December 1961, it returned to Heshui county and remained Gucheng commune.
In April 1983, urban and rural areas were consolidated.
In 2019, Gucheng and Rucheng will withdraw villages and build towns.
