Donggang
Donggang Town is under the jurisdiction of Huilai County, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, China. By the end of 2006, the total population of the town was 34271, and the total industrial and agricultural output value of the town was 205 million yuan. The agriculture was mainly planting, the industrial development prospect was gratifying, and the commercial trade was active. It was once a small inland port of Aojiang River in history, and a Polder city was formed in Qing Dynasty. The government is based in Donggang Village.
Geographical area
Donggang Town is located in the southwest of Huilai County, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, China. It is 33km away from the county seat. It is connected with Aojiang town in the East, Lufeng City in the south, Shanwei overseas Chinese Management Zone in the west, Kuitan town in the north and Xiling mine enclave in the Northwest. The town covers a total area of 52.84 square kilometers. The town government is located in Donggang Village.
history
Donggang Town is named after donggangwei, the residence of Donggang Town Government. In ancient times, donggangwei was a small port in the east of Changqing village, which connected naotouxi to the open sea. The Qing Dynasty has formed a fair, so it is called Donggang fair. When Donggang Town was founded in 1949, it belonged to Kuitan district and Jiazi district. In 1953, it became the fourth district. In 1956, it was withdrawn from the district to build a township and renamed Donggang Township. In 1962, it was established as Aojiang commune. In 1975, it was demolished to build Donggang commune. In 1983, it was changed into Donggang District and renamed Donggang Town in 1986.
In 1989, the administrative village was renamed the administrative region and set up the administrative region office. In February 1999, the administrative region was abolished and renamed the village committee to implement villagers' autonomy.

The whole town is a hilly area, the terrain inclines from northwest to Southeast, the north is the south slope of the great south mountain system, the highest peak is 350 meters above sea level, the west is dominated by low hills, and the southeast is the small plain of Aojiang River zone. Donggang Village
Donggang Village is an administrative village under the jurisdiction of Donggang Town. It is located in the southwest of Huilai County, 34 kilometers away from the county seat, near Sanqing mountain in the north, facing the Aojiang River, and bordering Lufeng City in the southwest. It is a pure agricultural village. At present, there are 607 households with a total population of 3680 and 1126 workers engaged in agricultural production. Changwei Village
Changwei village is an administrative village under the jurisdiction of Donggang Town. It is located in the southwest of Huilai County, 6km away from the town. The village has a total population of 3070 and 505 households. Baikeng Village
