Xiezhuang Township
Xiezhuang Township, Wolong District, Nanyang City, Henan Province, has a total area of 106 square kilometers and cultivated land area of more than 80000 mu. The township governs 19 administrative villages and 186 villager groups, with a total population of 37000. Most of them are Han nationality, as well as Hui, Mongolian, Tibetan, Uygur, Zhuang and other brother nationalities. Jin Shui Road and Jin Xiao road run through the whole Township, and "every village can" extend in all directions. Every village is connected with each other. Er Guang expressway runs through the whole Township, which is the transportation hub in the northwest of Wolong District.
On February 6, 2017, Xiezhuang township of Wolong District of Nanyang city was removed from the township and established as Xiezhuang town.
Historical evolution
Xiezhuang Township, formerly known as zuodiping commune, was relocated from zuodiping to Xiezhuang in 1968 and rebuilt into a township in 1964. Xiezhuang village is the political, economic and cultural exchange center, market and trade center of Xiezhuang Township, and the seat of the people's government. It is the birthplace of Wanbei culture, with the historical title of "45 Li guzhuangping". In the Ming Dynasty, it was a prosperous place for nearly 100 Li commodity trade, which was destroyed by war in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. The planning takes Xiezhuang street as the center and radiates the surrounding villages. Along the Xiezhuang natural village, it extends to Xiewu road in the East, Liuguo road in the west, Xianghe Avenue in the north and the edge of the original village in the south. The planning area is 1100 mu. It is planned to accommodate 2600 households and 11000 people in 37 natural villages, including Xiezhuang, Kangying, Dongying, Sizhuang and shuiniuchong. After completion, 2000 mu of cultivated land can be saved. The planning area of the first phase is 150 mu, and 500 housing units are planned to be built, mainly for 238 households in Xiezhuang natural village, taking into account the integrated resettlement of 262 households in the other three natural villages under the jurisdiction of Xiezhuang village. The construction area of the project is 105000 square meters. The planning community has complete infrastructure and public services, beautiful living environment, natural harmony, comfortable living and perfect functions. The new community and market town will be built simultaneously. Relying on the introduction of market town, the third industry such as trade circulation, fruit, medicine and tourism will be developed to realize local employment of the masses, make the masses live in the community and work in the market town, and realize the sharing of public resources.

Xiezhuang township is located 17 kilometers northwest of the urban area, bordering Pushan town in the East, Longxing Township in the north, angoo town in the West and Wangcun and Jingang in the south. The economy is dominated by traditional agriculture, and the main cash crops are wheat, corn, cotton, peanuts, etc.
Damiao Village
It is located in the southwest of Xiezhuang Township and adjacent to angoo town in the West. It has jurisdiction over 8 natural villages, 8 villager groups, 379 households and 1416 people. The cultivated land area is 3020 Mu and the economy is dominated by traditional agriculture
Gonghe Village
Located in the southwest of Xiezhuang Township, it has jurisdiction over 5 natural villages, 10 villager groups, 428 households, 1560 people and 2952 mu of cultivated land. Gonghe brick factory, with an investment of 600000 yuan, has been put into operation in industry; rice, wheat, cotton, etc. are used in agriculture, through which Liu Guo road passes.
Dongying Village
Located in the middle of Xiezhuang Township, it has jurisdiction over 6 natural villages, 11 villager groups, 389 households, 1500 people and 3230 mu of cultivated land. Xiewu road runs through the whole village, and its industry is mainly Japanese persimmon. It has developed more than 300 mu, and its production and sales are booming.
Buffaloes rush
Located in the west of Xiezhuang Township, bordering Longxing Township and angoo Town, it has jurisdiction over 24 natural villages, 18 villager groups, 903 households, 3609 people and 6112 mu of cultivated land. It has 500 mu black pear base, 7 pig farms, 1 wood processing plant and 1 cotton processing plant.
Kangying Village
Located in the north of Xiezhuang Township, close to Xiezhuang street, it has jurisdiction over 9 natural villages, 7 villager groups, 467 households, 1916 people and 3017 mu of cultivated land. Yangshugang reservoir, a famous scenic spot with 80% forest coverage and beautiful natural environment, is an ideal place for fishing and tourism. In 2006, the village was designated as a pilot village for the construction of a new socialist countryside.
Xiezhuang Village
The township government governs 5 natural villages, 6 villager groups, 510 households, 2037 people and 2901 mu of cultivated land. Business is active and pillar industries are obvious. Enterprises and animal husbandry are the main industries. Xiaowanggou village is located in the northeast of Xiezhuang Township, with 12 natural villages, 14 villager groups, 686 households, 2484 people, 5100 mu of arable land, 58 party members, and 6 members of the "two committees". Its main industries include thin skinned walnut (510 mu), small pepper (2000 mu), etc., and its main cash crops include wheat, corn, peanut, cotton, etc. Since 2006, according to the overall objectives and requirements of building a new socialist countryside, we have organized and implemented infrastructure construction, industrial structure adjustment, optimization of living environment and other projects, and achieved rapid development of rural economy. New changes have taken place in politics, society, economy, culture, foundation, environment and other aspects, which has been designated as a pilot village of building a new socialist countryside by the district and city.
Xuzhuang Village
Located in the northeast of Xiezhuang Township, close to Longxing Township and Qilin lake, it has jurisdiction over 14 natural villages, 11 villager groups, 505 households, 997 people and 3280 mu of cultivated land. It is one of the poverty-stricken villages at the municipal level. The village is dominated by traditional agriculture and focuses on the development of peanuts.
Digiping Village
Located in the northeast of Xiezhuang Township, bordering Pushan town in the East, it has jurisdiction over 11 natural villages, 11 villager groups, 628 households, 2348 people, and cultivated land area of 3398 mu. Tianying Village
Located in the east of Xiezhuang Township, at the foot of Zishan mountain, where Jin Shuilu and Jin Xiaolu meet, it has jurisdiction over 14 natural villages, 10 villager groups, 525 households, 2197 people, and 4124 mu of cultivated land. The village focuses on the development of agriculture and animal husbandry. Maotian Village
