Urban street, under the jurisdiction of Rushan City, Weihai City, Shandong Province, is the residence of Rushan municipal government. It is located in the east section of commercial street in Rushan City, bordering Dagushan town in the East, Rushankou town in the south, Rushanzhai town in the West and Xiacun town in the north, with a total area of 37.2 square kilometers.
In 1735, it belonged to Haiyang County; in October 1949, it belonged to Xiacun town of Rushan County; in 2001, 24 villages were set up by Xiacun town. By the end of 2011, the number of registered residence in urban districts was 119148. As of June 2020, 18 communities and 24 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of urban streets.
In 2018, the urban streets achieved fiscal revenue of 839 million yuan and the total industrial and agricultural output value of 3.185 billion yuan. Among them, the total industrial output value is 2.395 billion yuan, and the total agricultural output value is 790 million yuan. The total income of rural economy is 2.09 billion yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers is 20478 yuan.
History of construction
In 1735, it belonged to Haiyang county.
In February, 1941, it belonged to Xiacun Township, Muhai county.
In September 1942, it belonged to Xiacun Town, Muhai county.
In September 1944, it belonged to 14 districts of Muhai county.
In January 1945, it belonged to Xiacun District of Rushan county.
In October 1949, it belongs to Xiacun town of Rushan county.
On February 16, 1956, it belonged to Xiacun district; in December of the same year, Xiacun district was renamed Xiacun town.
On September 2, 1958, it belonged to Xiacun commune.
In January 1982, Xiacun town was restored.
In 2001, 24 villages were set up in Xiacun town.

Urban street is located in the eastern section of commercial street in Rushan City, bordering Dagushan town in the East, Rushankou town in the south, Rushanzhai town in the West and Xiacun town in the north, with a total area of 37.2 square kilometers.

There are low mountains in the north, East and West, hills in the middle and south, low mountains in between and scattered alluvial plains. The terrain is dustpan like, descending from north to south, with an average altitude of more than 300 meters.

The main natural disasters in urban streets are typhoon, rainstorm, earthquake and so on. The most serious rainstorm disaster occurred on July 25, 2011, causing 270 houses collapsed, 704 houses damaged and 11848 people transferred.
