Lianghe township is located 49 kilometers north of Cangxi County, bordering Tianguan Township in the East. It is bounded by shatanzigou of Sanchuan town in the south, Wulong town and Yongning Town in the southwest, shuiguanyin Ligou of Longwang Town in the north and xiajiaqiao of Wencun township of Yuanba District in Guangyuan in the northwest. It covers an area of 33.84 square kilometers and governs 6 villages, 33 groups and 1 T21 households with 6060 people, including 2897 women and 199 non-agricultural population. The township office is located in Lianghekou. There are three small (II) reservoirs (Youyi, Jianxin and Wutai reservoirs), 92 shanpingtang reservoirs, 1 electric irrigation station, 1260 drought prevention pools, and a total water storage capacity of 169_ 20000 cubic meters, effective irrigation area of 3000 mu. The main crops are rice, wheat, corn and sweet potato. The breeding industry is mainly pig, rabbit and sericulture. The forest fruit products are chestnut, walnut, orange, crisp sweet pomelo, Sydney, kiwi fruit, etc.
