Hengjian Township
Hengjian Township, belonging to Jingxing mining area of Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the middle of Jingxing mining area, adjacent to Beizheng township of Jingxing County in the East and south, bordering Fengshan Town and Jiazhuang town in the West and north respectively, with an administrative area of 15.12 square kilometers.
In the spring of 1950, Hengjian Township belonged to the mining area of Shijiazhuang city; in May 1984, it was changed to HENGJIAN township; in June 1991, Tianhu and hengbei village were classified as mining towns; in December 1995, hengbei, Tianhu and Donggang villages were classified as mining towns. By the end of 2018, 14755 people registered residence in the township. As of June 2020, HENGJIAN township has jurisdiction over 11 communities.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of HENGJIAN township was 63.29 million yuan, an increase of 9.08% over the previous year. The local fiscal revenue was 22.87 million yuan, 14.44% lower than that of the previous year. From the perspective of major taxes, business tax was 8.58 million yuan, value-added tax was 38.9 million yuan, and enterprise income tax was 4.88 million yuan. The per capita fiscal revenue was 4749 yuan, an increase of 38% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 27 industrial enterprises in Hengjian Township, including 4 Enterprises above Designated Size and 16 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the spring of 1950, Hengjian Township belongs to Shijiazhuang mining area.
In May 1953, HENGJIAN township was built.
In May 1958, Jingxing mining area was merged into Jingxing county and changed into Hengjian commune.
In May 1960, it was separated out from Jingxing county and put into Jingxing coal mine commune as the second branch.
In May 1963, Jingxing coal mine commune was abolished and the second branch was changed into Hengjian commune.
In May 1984, it was changed into HENGJIAN township.
In June 1991, Tianhu and hengbei villages were assigned to mining towns.
In December 1995, hengbei, Tianhu and Donggang villages of Kuangshi town were included.
