Gaoling town

Gaoling Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Du'an Yao Autonomous County, Hechi City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the middle of Du'an Yao Autonomous County, adjacent to lalie and Jiudu townships in the East, Anyang and Chengjiang townships in the south, Disu and Baoan townships in the West and Daxing and Yong'an townships in the north. The people's government is located at No. 12, Chengzhong Road, Gaoling community, 15 kilometers away from the county people's government. The administrative area is 287.00 square kilometers.

In the Qing Dynasty, it was an anding chieftain. In 1933, Gaoyang district and Jiexue Qidong Township were established, belonging to Du'an County. In 1955, it was renamed Gaoling District, belonging to Du'an Yao Autonomous County. In 1984, Gaoling commune was transformed into a township. In 1990, Gaoling township was transformed into a town. In 2005, wuzhu township was incorporated into the city. By the end of 2018, 83209 people registered residence in the town.
