Anding town

Anding town belongs to Pingjiang County, Yueyang City, Hunan Province. It is located in the south of the county. The town government is located in guantangji town. The town is located in the huangshe plain and Lianyun mountain area, where the MI river flows to the north and the Luxi river flows into the MI River, with beautiful natural scenery. Anding town has a rich history. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Hanchang county was set up here, in the Tang Dynasty, Changjiang County was set up here, and Du Fu's tomb was kept here.

Anding town has obvious traffic location advantages. It borders Liuyang City in the South and Pingjiang County in the north. National Highway 106, provincial highway 308, pingru Expressway and Pingyi Expressway run through the town. Haoji railway sets up Damao station here. Historical evolution

Anding town was anding township of five districts during the period of the Republic of China.

After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was Si'an Township, which was subordinate to two districts. In 1956, it was anding Township and anding town of Anding office.

Pingshang Academy

Pingshang academy is located in Gaoping Village, Anding Town, Pingjiang county. It is a Wujin courtyard built in the 39th year of Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty. It is a large house of Peng family. Its building area and back garden are more than 6800 square meters.

Du Fu's tomb

The structure of the ancestral hall of Du Fu's tomb is guishandingxiang, with a brick roof, one room and two ears, wedge-shaped brick, red stone tombstone, typical of Tang tomb style. There are official hall, monk's house, monk's house gate and the above "elucidation Temple". After the hall and cottage is the Huanhua thatched cottage. Du Fu's tomb and ancient buildings have been repaired and rebuilt many times. The existing Tomb of Du Fu was rebuilt in 1883 (the ninth year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty). It has a diameter of 1 Zhang and a height of 5 feet. The top of the tomb is covered with solid thick stones, with a back wall. The stele is replaced by bluestone, with a height of 1 Zhang and a width of more than 12 feet. It is attached with a stone slab and inlaid with stone columns. In the stele is engraved "cemetery of Du Wenzhen in wailang, member of the left Collection Department of the Tang Dynasty", and on the right is engraved "Lotus inscription of shuzong, magistrate of Wuling County, Pingjiang county" It was also rebuilt in 1884. In 1885, after the temple, the "iron bottle Poetry Society" was built.

Du Fu's tomb, ancestral temple and tie Ping Poetry Society cover an area of 10 mu, with a total construction area of 3865 square meters. The tomb and ancestral temple are integrated into a unique group of ancient buildings with great cultural relics, historical and ornamental value. The dictionary of Chinese places of interest edited by the State Administration of cultural relics was identified as the original Tomb of Du Fu, which was announced as a national key scenic spot by the State Council in 1988. In 1956, Du Fu's tomb was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit at the provincial level. Hunan Provincial People's government announced it as a cultural relic protection unit at the provincial level in 1983. In April 1997, Du Fu's tomb was rated as one of the "ten scenes of Yueyang" and named "shishengliutrace". In 2005, the repair of Du Fu's tomb was completed, and the International Symposium on Du Fu's poetry and the spirit of the times was successfully held.

Industrial Development

The characteristic agricultural products of Anding town include rice, vegetables, chestnut, bamboo, tea, etc. Since the mid-1990s, the town has successively developed 16000 mu of improved tea varieties and 10000 mu of forest fruits, mainly including Naili, chestnut, seedless orange and kiwifruit. In 2000, the town's total grain output was 36866 tons, ranking among the top 10 in Yueyang City; 141000 pigs were sold, ranking second in the county. To develop Phyllostachys pubescens industry, the area of newly opened Phyllostachys pubescens has reached 12000 mu.
