Hebei town

Hebei town, subordinate to Longxian County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the northeast of Longxian county. It is adjacent to caobi town of Qianyang County in the East, Dongfeng Town and Chengguan town in the south, Lijiahe town in the West and Longmen town of Lingtai County in Gansu Province in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 18.59 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 20.42 km, with a total area of 207.82 square kilometers.

Historical evolution

The name comes from its location to the north of Qianhe river.

In Qing Dynasty, it belonged to northeast township.

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Hebei slope Lianbao.

In 1949, it was renamed Hebei District, which governs six townships.

In 1958, it belonged to the sixth commune of red flag. In December of the same year, it was renamed as Hebei commune, which governed three townships.

In 1984, it was renamed Hebei Township, which has jurisdiction over 14 villagers' committees.

In July 2011, it was changed to Hebei town.
