Nanyuan street is located in the southwest of Kuiwen District, with an area of 12.6 square kilometers and a population of 9853. It governs 11 administrative villages. Under the correct leadership of the district Party committee and the district government, emancipating the mind, making arduous efforts, pioneering and enterprising, and doing pioneering work, the street economy and various social undertakings have maintained a good momentum of healthy and rapid development. In 2002, the gross domestic product of the whole street was 55.86 million yuan, which was 3.26 times that of 1997. The industrial added value, sales revenue, profits and taxes were 39.5 million yuan, 158.07 million yuan and 8.9 million yuan, which were 10 times, 11 times and 11.5 times that of 1997. Local fiscal revenue was 1.35 million yuan, 1.6 times that of 1997. The street has been awarded the honorary titles of Weifang rural work model Township, urban key greening project construction advanced unit, district investment work advanced unit, district petition work advanced unit and district advanced street by the municipal and district Party committee and government. 1、 Great efforts have been made to attract investment and the industry has made a breakthrough. Before 1995, there was no collective industrial enterprise in the street. Since 1995, several enterprises have been established in the streets and villages, but with the development of the situation, they have been gradually shut down, changed production and restructured, and Nanyuan industry has fallen into a blank. In 2002, the street made a strategic adjustment to the economic development idea, taking the construction of Nanyuan Industrial Park and attracting investment as the general grasp to adjust the economic structure, speed up economic development and improve the rural production and lifestyle, and determined the working idea of strengthening the second industry, driving the third industry, improving the first industry and maintaining stability. The economic development began to shift from agriculture to the second and third industries. Nanyuan Industrial Park is located in the south of the street. It was built in June 2002 and covers an area of 600 mu. In November, with the approval of the higher authorities, it was renamed as Weifang Chengnan Industrial Zone (Nanyuan District), and became one of the two divisions of Weifang Chengnan industrial zone. The approved construction area was expanded to 1500 mu, including the land on both sides of the Airport South Road and north of the street, enjoying municipal preferential policies.

Among them, asparagus is the characteristic crop, with a planting area of more than 1600 mu, which can increase the annual income by more than 8 million yuan; there are 200 fish cage, 50 mu fish pond, with an annual output of more than 1.2 million jin of fresh fish; there are 3 seedling and flower bases, with an area of more than 260 mu, which can provide high-grade seedlings for urban greening and beautification. In 2002, the total agricultural income reached 12.66 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers reached 3293 yuan. 3、 Increase investment, social undertakings by leaps and bounds. Maozizhuang, sunlujia and other villages have set up literature and art teams, toured around during the Spring Festival, national day and other major festivals, and won many awards in the activities organized by the district government. In 1998, a 500 door communication line was set up to realize village to village telephone. We strengthened road construction, renovated 200 kilometers of roads, and achieved the goal of connecting every village with Baiyou road. In terms of environmental management, we have completed the Yuhe river treatment project, the renovation and greening project of Yuandu lake, the construction of 1000 mu fast-growing forest and the greening of 50 meter forest belt along the outer Second Ring Road, and planted more than 1 million seedlings.
