Daquan Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Shawan City, Tacheng Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the middle of Shawan city. It is adjacent to jingouhe town in the East, sandaohezi town in the south, 142tuan farm in the West and 144tuan farm in the north, with a total administrative area of 171.48 square kilometers.

History of construction
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Daquan village belongs to sandaohezi township.
In 1958, it was changed into Daquan brigade and belonged to the urban commune (later the urban commune was renamed Hongqi commune and still belonged to it).
In 1975, Daquan commune was established by Hongqi commune.
In 1984, it was changed to Daquan township.
