Hanbin Township
Hanbin Township, subordinate to Yining City, Yili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Yining City. It faces tashkulek Township, dunmaili street and saybuyi street in the East, Chabuchar Xibe Autonomous County across the river in the south, bayandai town in the West and dadamutu Township in the north, with a total administrative area of 31.78 square kilometers.
In 1950, it was subordinate to six districts of Yining County. In February 1975, it was transferred to Yining City. In 1984, it was changed to Hanbin township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Han Bin township was 15886. In 2019, Hanbin village governs one community and six administrative villages.
In 2011, the total revenue of Hanbin township was 340 million yuan, an increase of 9.2% over the previous year. In 2018, there were two industrial enterprises in Hanbin township.
History of construction
In 1780, the Qing government built Xichun City, one of the nine cities of Ili, and recruited green battalion officers and soldiers from Shaanxi and Gansu.
In 1950, it was subordinate to six districts of Yining County.
In 1952, Yining city was divided into a district.
In 1958, red star commune was established.
In February 1975, it was transferred to Yining City.
In 1978, it was renamed Hanbin commune.
In 1984, the village was changed.

History and culture
