Shache County in Kashgar Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region governs Township, 14 administrative villages including nipiqi village, towannipiqi village, togre Arik village and kumubag village, and the township government is located in Kuoshi Arik village.
Located in the north of Shache County, Xinjiang, it is adjacent to Yeerqiang River in the East, tagaerqi Township in the south, paikeqi Township in the West and alixihu town in the north, 21 kilometers away from Shache county.

The main food crops are wheat and corn. The main cash crops are cotton, vegetables, fruits and so on. Animal husbandry is mainly for raising sheep and cattle. The main varieties of forest and fruit crops are padanmu, walnut, apricot, etc.
In 2018, tuoge re'irek and kumubag villages in kuoshi'irek Township withdrew from poverty-stricken villages.
In 2020, akbashi village, bazha village, Bozi village, Kuoshi village and kuoyiqi village in Kuoshi village will withdraw from poverty-stricken villages.
History of construction
In 1950, kuoshierike township was located in the area of alixi lake.
In 1958, it was the first administrative area of the nine communes.
