Mushi Township
Mushi Township, belonging to Shufu County in Kashi Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Shufu county. It is adjacent to Langan Township in the East, Zhanmin Township across Kizil River in the south, Kalatage mountain in the West and Wuqia County in Kezhou in the north. It is 47 kilometers away from Shufu County, with a total area of 693.12 square kilometers.
In the late Qing Dynasty, the area of Mushi Township belonged to Mushi village; in August 1984, Mushi commune was withdrawn and Mushi township was established. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Mu Shi township was 18437. In 2019, the rural area of Mushi governs nine administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in Bostan village.

History of construction
In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to mushizhuang.
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to semanburke District of Shufu county.
In 1950, it belonged to Seman district and was called thirteen townships.
In 1954, it was assigned to Langan District, the fourth and fifth townships.
In 1965, it was separated from Langan commune and established Mushi commune.
In August 1984, Mushi commune was withdrawn and Mushi township was built.
