Heiziwei Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Wuqia County, Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Wuqia County, adjacent to Kangsu town in the East, faertuokuiyi Township in the south, wuheshalu Township in the west, and wulukqiati Township and Tuoyun Township in the northwest and North, with a total administrative area of 2782.4 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Hezi Wei township was 6620. In 2019, heiziwei Township governs one community and six administrative villages.
Wheat is the main food crop in heiziwei Township, and livestock and poultry are the main animal husbandry. In 2018, heiziwei township has 4 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In May 1938, the county was transferred from Shufu county to Wuqia County, and the county was moved from wulukqiati to heiziwei.
In 1947, Wuqia county set up two towns and two townships, belonging to Kezi town.
In 1950, it belonged to the first district.
In 1958, heiziwei commune was rebuilt.
In April 1969, it was renamed Dongfanghong commune.
In 1980, the name of heiziwei commune was restored.
In 1984, the society was withdrawn and the township was built.
