Songtak Township, subordinate to Atushi City, Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Atushi city. It is connected with Gedaliang Township in the East and Southeast, azak Township in the South and southwest, Guangming Street in Atushi city in the West and northwest, and Xingfu street in the North, with an administrative area of 183 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, 45002 households had registered residence in Pine Town. As of October 2019, sontak township has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages.

History of construction
Before the 27th year of the Republic of China (1938), it belonged to astushzhuang in Jiashi county. After the establishment of Atush Administration Bureau, Atush village belonged to Atush Administration Bureau.
In 1950, it was divided into districts, the first district of Atushi county.
In September 1958, songtac commune was rebuilt.
In October 1984, the commune was withdrawn and the township was built.
