Dunkuotan town
The registered residence of Dun Kuo Tan, belonging to Kuche city of Akesu, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southeastern part of Kuche. Historical evolution
In 1884, Xinjiang was established as a province under the jurisdiction of Zhongnan township of Fumin Department of Kuqa Zhili.
In 1913, Kuqa was established as a county under the jurisdiction of the second district.
In 1944, it was under the jurisdiction of MaoGong township.
In 1950, it was under the jurisdiction of the seventh district.
In 1953, it separated from the seventh district and was classified as the eighth District, which governs rixinzhuang, tagmak and duweilik townships.
In 1956, the senior society was established in rixinzhuang, tagmak and duweileke townships.
In 1958, the three senior communes merged into the National Day commune.
On May 25, 1959, the county people's Committee named duweilik commune as national day commune, and on July 26, 1959, duweilik commune was changed into Donghetang commune.
In 1966, it was renamed Hongwei commune.
In 1978, Donghetang commune was restored.
In 1984, tuzilukdun village committee was put under the jurisdiction of Wuqia township.
