Oiyayrac town
Aoyiyayilac Town, belonging to Qiemo County, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Qiemo county. It is connected with kunqibulak pasture in the East, Kunlun Mountain and Tibet in the south, Minfeng County in Hotan Area in the west, and yingwusitang Township across the desert in the north. It is 280 km away from the residence of Qiemo County People's government, with a total area of 3472 square kilometers.
In 1958, aoyiyayilak town belonged to a Qiang commune; in 2013, aoyiyayilak township was changed from township to town. By the end of 2018, the population of the town of O Yi Ya La registered residence was 1893. In 2019, the town has five administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in the village.
The main crops are wheat, highland barley and potato, and the main livestock husbandry is raising sheep and goats. In 2018, there were three industrial enterprises in oiyayrac town.
History of construction
In 1958, it belonged to a Qiang commune.
In 1981, aoyiyayilac commune was established.
In 1984, aoyiyayilac commune was transformed into aoyiyayilac township.
In 2013, aoyiyayilak township was changed from township to town.
