Tuhulu town
Tuhulu Township, belonging to Yiwu County, Hami City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the south of the county. It is adjacent to xiamaya Township in the East, hongxing'er ranch and wulatai Township in Hami City in the south, Yanchi Township in the West and weizixia Township in the north. The area is 1285.03 square kilometers. In 2018, 2459 people registered residence.
During the reign of Hami king, tuhulu township was one of the six districts in Shanbei. In 1935, Yiwu set up one of the six administrative villages under the Bureau. In 1950, tuhulu District People's government was established. Tuhulu commune was established in 1958. In 1969, it was changed into Dongfanghong commune. In July 1981, it became tuhulu commune and tuhulu Township on June 9, 1984. As of October 2019, tuhulu village has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages.
In 2018, tuhulu township has two comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
