Dahongliuxia Township
Dahongliuxia Township, belonging to Balikun Kazakh Autonomous County, Hami City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Balikun county. It is adjacent to Balikun Lake in the East, borqiangji Town, salqiaoke Township and haiziyan Township in the southwest, Mulei County in the West and Mongolia in the north. The area is 14443 square kilometers. In 2018, 4539 people registered residence.
In 1931, it belonged to xiyoumu township. In 1956, it belonged to salchok district. In 1958, it was transferred to pasture. In 1985, the township was rebuilt. As of October 2019, dahongliuxia has four administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
In 2018, there were four industrial enterprises in dahongliuxia Township, and one comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Wheat covers an area of 800 mu with an output of 224 tons; potato covers an area of 100 mu with an output of 240 tons. The main economic crops are cotton, vegetables, alfalfa, forage corn, etc., with cotton planting area of 1200 Mu and yield of 2401 tons; vegetable planting area of 100 mu and yield of 250 tons; alfalfa planting area of 2700 Mu and yield of 1134 tons; forage corn of 300 mu and yield of 900 tons. Animal husbandry mainly feeds sheep, cattle, horses and camels. The livestock production is 100000 heads (piece, horse, peak), and there are 61000 heads (piece, horse, peak) on hand at the end of the year.
