Quesou town
Kuisu Town, belonging to Balikun Kazakh Autonomous County, Hami City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Balikun County, with Yiwu horse farm, Hongxing pasture and Yiwu County in the East, Balikun mountain and Hami City in the south, Hongshan farm, improved seed farm, Dahe Town and Santanghu Township in the West, and Mongolia in the north. The area is 1021 square kilometers. In 2018, 12392 people registered residence.
Kuisu district was established in 1953. In 1956, kuisu township was built in zaqu. At the end of 1958, it was Dongfeng commune. In 1961, kuisu general farm was established by kuisu commune. At the beginning of 1962, the general farm of land reclamation was withdrawn and restored to Su commune. In the cultural revolution, it was renamed Dongfeng commune. In 1980, kuisu commune was restored. In 1985, kuisu township was built. In October 2001, the township was removed to build a town. As of October 2019, kuisu town has 10 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 7 industrial enterprises and 27 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in quesu town.

Kuisu town is located in the south of Balikun mountain in the eastern part of North Tianshan Mountain and in the north of moqinwula mountain, a branch of Tianshan Mountain. The terrain is high in the southeast and low in the northwest. The altitude is 1824 meters.
