Wangtuan town
Wangtuan town is located in the southeast of Tongxin County, Wuzhong City, Ningxia, with an area of 493.71 square kilometers and a population of 38575 (2017). It governs 13 administrative villages including Yanglu, Gancao Zhang, baozizhang, diaobuzi, caijiatan, dongliangwa, Tuoluo Yaoxian, sujialing, luojiatai, Liushu Yaoxian, Taozi Yaoxian, Xinpu and Chuankou.

Wangtuan town is located in the southeast of Tongxin County, 15 kilometers away from the county. It has jurisdiction over Zhangjiawan, Hujiawan, Qianhong, Dongtan, Nan, Bei, gounan, luojiahewan, Lianhe, daodunzi, dagouyan, abutiao, zhangershui, hujiahongwan, baituyaoxian, wangjiahaizi, honggouyangwa, Dawan, huangcaoling, liujiachuan, mataozi, quantang, baozizhang, caijiatan, diaobaozi, luojiatai, xinbaozi, Yanglu, Chuankou and Gancao Zhang The historical evolution of politics
Seven districts were set up in 1950, wangtuanzhuang District in 1956, Hongwei commune in 1958, Wangtuan commune in 1961, Wangtuan Township in 1984 and town in 1992. In 1997, it covers an area of 374 square kilometers and has a population of 25000. It governs 21 administrative villages, namely Nancun, Beicun, Qianhong, hujiawanzi, Zhangjiawan, gounan, luojiahewan, Lianhe, daodunzi, dagouyan, abutiao, zhangershuitang, hujiahongwan, baituyaoxian, wangjiahaizi, honggouyangwa, Dawan, huangcaoling, liujiachuan, majiataozi and quantang.
Attachment: Yanglu township is located in the south of Tongxin County, 52 kilometers away from the county. Qingshui River flows through the countryside. Yanglu commune was established in 1961 and set up in 1984. In 1997, with an area of 238.8 square kilometers and a population of 13000, it has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages, including Yanglu, Gancao Zhang, baozizhang, diaobaozi, caijiatan, dongliangwa, Tuoluo Yaoxian, sujialing, luojiatai, Liushu Yaoxian, Taozi Yaoxian, Xinpu and Chuankou. In 2003, it was abolished and assigned to Wangtuan town and zhangjiayuan Township respectively.
On May 29, 2019, 1. Baozizhang village and Zhangjiawan village are merged into one village. The new village is named Zhangjiawan village, and the village headquarters is located in the former Zhangjiawan village.
2. The organizational system of Dawan village was abolished. Dawan village and huangcaoling village are merged into one village. The new village is named huangcaoling village, and the village headquarters is located in the former huangcaoling village.
3. The establishment of liujiachuan village was abolished. Liujiachuan village and gounan village are merged into one village, the new village is named gounan village, and the village department is located in the original gounan village; liujiachuan village quantang community is merged into mataozi village, the new village is named mataozi village, and the village department is located in the original mataozi village.
4. The organizational system of hongyangwa village was abolished. Hongyangwa village and Dongtan village are merged into one village. The new village is named Dongtan village, and the village headquarters is located in the former Dongtan village.
5. The organizational system of huhongwan village was abolished. Huhongwan village and Qianhong village are merged into one village, the new village is named Qianhong village, and the village headquarters is located in the former Qianhong village.
