Jianzhang town is located in the middle of Wuxiang County, Shanxi Province, on the Bank of Zhuozhang River. It is 25 kilometers away from the county in the west, adjacent to Xiying town of Xiangyuan County in the south, Panlong town in the East, superior Township in the West and Dayou Township in the north. The town covers an area of 48.4 square kilometers.
The town has 15 administrative villages, 52 natural villages, 10348 permanent residents (2017), 27390 mu of arable land, including 2800 mu of irrigated area.

Geographical features
The terrain is mainly hilly, and Jianzhang basin is one of the larger basins in the county. Low lying, the lowest elevation of 802 meters, the lowest point of the county. The transportation here is convenient. The Wuhan Mohist railway and Qinwen highway pass through. In Jianzhang, you can go directly to Taiyuan and Changzhi. It's very convenient for people to travel. agricultural economy
Jianzhang town is one of the agricultural production bases of Wuxiang County. Its melon, peanuts and vegetables are well-known. Especially, melon and peanuts are the main production areas of the county. In addition to the county market, they are also sold to surrounding counties and cities. With the adjustment of agricultural industrial structure, the planting area of economic crops such as melon, peanuts, open-air vegetables and sunlight greenhouse vegetables in the town has expanded year by year, reaching 12000 mu in 2008, and the proportion of grain to economy has reached 6:4. Hui Xian Daoist Temple
Huixian temple is located in the west of Jianzhang village, 50 Li to the east of Wuxiang County. It has beautiful mountains and beautiful scenery. This view is built on the edge of a long stream of water, with a construction area of 1354 square meters. Along the central axis, there are Sanqing hall, Yuhuang hall, Guandi temple and stage from north to south. It is high in the north and low in the south. On the East and west sides of the temple are granny temple, Yama palace and East and West Corridor rooms, each with more than 20 rooms. There is also a bell and Drum Tower, which is built on the top of the Mountain Gate on both sides of Guandi temple. Throughout the whole building, the two phases are symmetrical, the four sides are consistent, the structure is rigorous, and the construction is exquisite; all the buildings are magnificent with bright columns, colorful rafters, cornices and brackets, and red and blue algae painting. In particular, this hall is backed by a mountain and faced with a stream. The whole body is supported by a stone foundation of several feet. It is magnificent, majestic and magnificent.
According to the inscriptions, this view was first built in the third year of the Yuan Dynasty (1266 AD), "Jia Zhidao, the ancient Yushi, knew immortals here, so it got its name.". After several repairs, there are inscriptions. In the seventh year of Zhengde of Ming Dynasty (1512 AD), the temple was decadent and decadent, and "the image of the temple seems to be incongruous". The Taoist Li Dongren and Taoist Ren Shouming planned to rebuild it. Most of the changes were caused by the renovation. On August 1, 1980, Huixian temple was announced as a key cultural relics protection unit in Shanxi Province. On June 25, 2001, Huixian temple, as an ancient building from Jin Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, was approved by the State Council to be listed in the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
