Zhiqin Township
Zhiqin Township, belonging to Bama County, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the west of Bama County, adjacent to sailaitang town in the East, sedanianlong Township in Sichuan Province in the south, Jika Township in the west, shangdukehe Township in Sichuan Province in the north and sailaitang town in the northeast. It is 57 kilometers away from the county government, with a total area of 897.52 square kilometers.
In 1956, the duoke River District was established. In 1984, Zhiyin commune was renamed Zhiqin township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Zhi Qin township was 2743. In 2019, there will be three administrative villages in Zhiqin rural area.
Zhiqin township is mainly engaged in animal husbandry, raising Tibetan sheep, yaks and other livestock. In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers and herdsmen in Zhiqin township was 23224 yuan.
History of construction
In 1956, the duoke River District was established.
In 1959, it was renamed Zhiyin commune.
In 1963, Zhiyin commune was changed into Zhiyin township.
In 1969, Zhiyin Township abolished the township system and was renamed Zhiyin commune.
In 1984, Zhiyin commune was changed into Zhiqin township.
