Xiadawu Township
Xiadawu Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Maqin County, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the northwest of Maqin County, adjacent to Wenquan Township, Xinghai County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the East, Xueshan Township, Maqin County in the southeast, Changmahe Township, Maqin County in the south, and HUASHIXIA Town, Maduo County in the West and northwest. The administrative area is 1641.00 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, the population of the lower Wuxiang registered residence was 1825. As of October 2019, xiadawu township has three administrative villages.
In 2011, the per capita net income of herdsmen was 4391.6 yuan.
History of construction
In 1957, Dawu district was established.
In 1958, it was changed into Qianjin commune and later into Dawu commune.
In 1962, it was divided into three townships: Dawu, dongqinggou and xiadawu.
In September 1969, it was changed into xiadawu commune.
In 1984, it was changed to xiadawu township.
