Changmu town
Changmu Town, subordinate to guide County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the southeast of guide County, adjacent to Jianzha County in the East, Tongren County in the southeast, Zeku and Guinan County in the South and southwest, Xinjie Hui Township and Hexi Town in the west, Hedong Township and Hexi Town in the north, 20 kilometers away from the county, with a total administrative area of 1231.54 square kilometers.
In 1950, Changmu town was divided into three districts; in 2006, Changmu town was established by merging 7 towns of Changmu Township with Donggou township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Chang Mu town was 17921. In 2019, Changmu town has 25 administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in zhoutun village.
The main crops in Changmu town are spring wheat, highland barley and rape, and the main livestock husbandry is copper. In 2018, there were 13 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Changmu town.
History of construction
In 1950, it belonged to three districts.
In 1953, Guinan county was designated as a regular pastoral area.
In September 1958, it was transferred to guide.
In 1959, Changmu township was established.
In November 1961, it was divided into Changmu Township and Laxiu township.
In 1965, Changmu Township and Laxiu Township were merged into Changmu township.
In 1966, Changmu township was changed into Changmu commune.

In 2006, 7 villages in Changmu Township and 15 villages in Donggou Township were merged to form Changmu town.
