Ganzihe Township
Ganzihe Township, belonging to Haiyan County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the northwest of the county. It is connected with Qinghai Lake Township and Xihai town in the East, Qinghai Lake in the southwest, Gangcha County in the West and Qilian County in the north, 60 kilometers away from the county. The area is 1488.64 square kilometers. In 2018, 5859 people registered residence.
In 1949, daruyu township was established along the old system. In August 1950, daruyu township was officially established. In 1953, it was under the jurisdiction of daruyu Tibetan Autonomous Region. In 1959, ganzihe commune was established. In 1962, it was changed to ganzihe township. In 1965, it was changed into ganzihe commune. In 1983, it was renamed ganzihe township. In August 2006, ganzihe Township and Tuole Mongolian Township were abolished and Dayu Mongolian township was merged in Haiyan County. In 2007, also known as ganzihe township. As of October 2019, ganzihe township has jurisdiction over 7 administrative villages.
In 2018, ganzihe township has 21 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Ganzihe township is located in the south of Datong mountain area of Qilian Mountains, the whole terrain is high in the north and low in the south, and the south is relatively flat. The grassland is mainly composed of mountain grassland and mountain meadow, followed by swamp grassland and shrub grassland. There are five peaks with an altitude of more than 4000 meters in the territory. The highest nianqinxiager mountain is located in ERRI village with an altitude of 4358 meters; the lowest zabulasha mountain is located in Gahai village with an altitude of 3100 meters.

Ganzihe township has sufficient light and strong sunshine; it is cold in winter and cool in summer, short in warm season, long in cold season, strong wind and sandstorm in spring; it has less rainfall, hot and rainy seasons, and distinct dry and wet seasons. The annual average temperature is less than - 3 ℃, the average temperature of the warmest month is less than 9 ℃, and the average temperature of the coldest month is less than - 16 ℃.
