Linchuan Township, belonging to Huzhu Tu Autonomous County, Haidong City, Qinghai Province, is located in the north of Huzhu Tu Autonomous County, bordering Donghe Township in the East, Taizi Township in the south, Nanmenxia town in the west, Daban mountain, a branch of Qilian Mountain in the north, 10 kilometers away from Weiyuan town, with a total area of 159.5 square kilometers.
In 1949, Linchuan township was established along the old system. In December 2006, biantan township was merged into Linchuan township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Lin Chuan township was 25851. In 2019, Linchuan rural governs 21 administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in minza village.
In 2019, Linchuan township has 2 industrial enterprises and 10 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 51 square meters.
History of construction
In 1949, Linchuan township was established along the old system.
In 1958, it was incorporated into Wufeng commune.
In 1961, Linchuan commune was established.
In 1983, it was renamed Linchuan township.
In December 2006, biantan township was merged into Linchuan township.

In 2019, Linchuan rural area has 21 administrative villages, including he'er village, Dahe village, Xiaohe village, he village, jiucaigou village, Machang village, Tangritai village, Xujia village, Yaozhuang village, zuogan village, Baojia village, cangjia village, Majia village, NIMA village, Shuidong village, Xiamen village, Xinzhuang village, minsijia village, minza village and bazha village.
