Jiading town, belonging to Huzhu Tu Autonomous County, Haidong City, Qinghai Province, is located in the northeast of Huzhu Tu Autonomous County, facing Yongdeng County of Gansu Province across Datong River in the East, Songduo Township, 50 Township and Danma town in the south, bazha Township in the West and Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County of Gansu Province in the north. It is 78 kilometers away from the county, with a total area of 619.37 square kilometers.

In 1949, Jiading Township was set up along the old system. On March 19, 2001, Jiading Tibetan township was abolished and Jiading town was established. By the end of 2018, the population of the registered residence in the town was 7778. In 2019, Jiading town governs one community and six administrative villages.

In 2018, Jiading town has 1 industrial enterprise and 21 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1949, Jiading Township was set up along the old system.

In 1956, Jiading Tibetan township was established.

In 1958, it was merged into Beishan commune.

In 1961, Jiading commune was established.

In 1983, Jiading Tibetan township was restored.

On March 19, 2001, Jiading Tibetan township was abolished and Jiading town was established.
