Liangjiao township is subordinate to Datong Hui and Tu Autonomous County, Xining City, Qinghai Province. Liangjiao township is located in the north of Datong County, facing Ta'er town across the river in the East, Qiaotou town in Nantong, jiaoxiegou town in the West and blissful town in the north. In 1958, it belonged to the good education brigade of Qiaotou commune. In 1961, it was divided into Liangjiao commune. In 1984, it was changed into a good religion Hui nationality township. On November 6, 1985, it was changed into Liangjiao township. In October 2019, Liangjiao Township governs 12 administrative villages.
