Shifan Street

Shifan street is under the jurisdiction of Yueqing City, Zhejiang Province. Shifan street is located in the middle of Yueqing City, 10 kilometers away from the city. Tiancheng street in the East, Lecheng street in the south, Danxi town in the northwest and Hongqiao Town in the northeast.

Regional situation

It covers an area of 31.95 square kilometers and has a population of 35000 (at the end of 2008). It has jurisdiction over one residential area in Shifan and 29 administrative villages including Dongpu lake, puhu 1, puhu 2, puhu 3, Xizhu, shanghetou, Qianlin, dalinhou, Panlong, Zhuyu, Heyan, huitou, Heqi, shangguantang, xiaguantang, Qingyu, Houyu, Shanqian, xiaxue, chenao, shenfang, Dajie, Guolu, Shangjia Ao, Xiajia Ao, zuoyuanlingtou, waiao, wandongkeng and Yandang. The office is located at 1000 Xingfu West Road. Ningbo Taizhou Wenzhou Railway, 104 National Road transit, with shenfang railway station.

Historical evolution

In 1949, it was called Shifan Township and Xilian township. In 1956, it was merged into Xilian Township, which is still called Xilian township. In the same year, it was divided into Shifan Township and Xilian township. In 1958, it was the western union management area of Hongqiao commune and the Shifan management area of Puqi commune. In 1961, Xilian commune and Shifan commune were established. In 1983, Shifan commune was changed into puhu township. In 1984, Xilian commune was changed into Xilian township. In 1992, puhu and Xilian townships were merged into Shifan township. In 1997, the township was set up with an area of 32 square kilometers and a population of 30000. It has jurisdiction over puhu No.1, puhu No.2, puhu No.3, dongpuhu, Xizhu, shanghetou, Qianlin, dalinhou, Panlong, Zhuyu, Heyan, Heyu, xiaxue, huitou, chenao, Heqi, shenfang, Qingyu, shangguantang, xiaguantang, zuoyuanlingtou, Dajie, Shanqian, Guolu, waiao, shangjiaao, Yandang, xiajiaao There are 29 administrative villages in wandongkeng. The town government is located in the second village of puhu. In 2011, the town was removed and streets were set up.
