Guoye town
Guoye Town, belonging to Zhouqu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Zhouqu County. It borders Lianghekou Township, Dangchang County, Longnan City in the East, Wuping Township and baling Township in the south, and Dachuan town and Nanyu Township in the north. The area is 67.44 square kilometers. In 2018, 10206 people registered residence.
In 1950, Moli township was established. In 1953, Chigan township was established. In August 1962, Chigan commune was established. In 1965, it was incorporated into Sanjiaoping commune. In 1984, it was changed to Chigan township. In 2006, Sanjiaoping Township and Chigan Township were merged into Guoye township. In 2018, the township will be changed into a town. In June 2020, 18 administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of Guoye town.
