Taobin town
Taobin Town, belonging to Lintan County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Lintan County, in the original valley of the North Bank of Taohe River, bordering Min county of Dingxi City in the East and Zhuoni County across Taohe River in the southwest. The area is 91.74 square kilometers. In 2018, 9732 people registered residence.
In 1949, there were Zongzhai Township and Xinbao township. In 1958, it was incorporated into Liulin commune. In 1962, it had jurisdiction over Zongzhai and Xinpu commune. In 1983, it was changed into Zongzhai Township and Xinbao township. At the end of 2005, Zongzhai Township and Xinbao Township were abolished and taobin township was merged. In June 2020, taobin town governs 12 administrative villages.
In 2018, taobin town has a comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Taobin town is high in the north and low in the south. It is the valley of Taohe River. The main mountains are Zongzhai Daliang. The highest elevation of Zongzhai Daliang is 2900 meters, and the lowest elevation of Bajie village is 2400 meters.
