Wailang Township
Wailang Township, belonging to Yunyang County of Chongqing, is located in the south of Yunyang County. It is connected with Longjiao town and Nixi town in the East, Qingshui town in the south, Changtan town of Wanzhou District in the West and Tai'an town of Wanzhou in the north. It is 42 kilometers away from the residence of Yunyang County Government, with a total area of 48.8 square kilometers.
In the Ming Dynasty, wailang Township belonged to the East Jingbao of Renshou Li, Juren township; in October 1995, it was set up by Yuanzhuang township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the rural population was 11006. As of June 2020, wailang village has jurisdiction over one community and four administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located at No. 399, Jinzhu Road, jinzhugou community.

History of construction
In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to the east well fort of Renshou Li, Juren township.
In the middle of Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the lower class of Yuanzhuang in Nanxiang. In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Fengming township.
In 1929, Dongjing township was established. In May 1933, Dongjing Township and Xinglong Township merged to form Yuanzhuang township. In July 1936, it belonged to the third district. In 1942, it was the sixth guidance area. In June 1947, it was transferred to the third guidance area.
December 18, 1949, belongs to Fengming district.
In January 1951, wailang township was established from Yuanzhuang township.
In January 1953, wailang township was divided into three townships: wailang, Fenshui and Zhulin.
In July 1955, the three townships merged into wailang township.
In the autumn of September 1958, wailang township was merged into Fengming commune; in October of the same year, Fengming commune was separated into wailang commune.
In April 1984, wailang commune was changed into wailang township.
In October 1992, he was admitted to zhuangziang.
In October 1995, wailang township was established from Yuanzhuang township.
