Dongyuan Township
Dongyuan Township, subordinate to Dongxiang Autonomous County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Dongxiang Autonomous County, adjacent to suonan and Pingzhuang in the East, Baihe Township in the south, Zheqiao town of Linxia city across Daxia River in the west, Liushu Township and Chuntai Township in the north. The area is 60.45 square kilometers. In 2018, 15933 people registered residence.
In the Qing Dynasty, the three guilds of guidongxiang. In 1950, Dongyuan township was established. In 1958, Dongyuan township was incorporated into Dongyuan commune. The terrain of Dongyuan township is high in the East and low in the West. The terrain can be divided into three types: loess oblique ridge hill, loess Ridge Hill and Chuanyuan platform. The highest point is at Mansan village, 2260 meters above sea level, and the lowest point is at Maogou village, 1997 meters above sea level.
