Dongyuan Township

Dongyuan Township, subordinate to Dongxiang Autonomous County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Dongxiang Autonomous County, adjacent to suonan and Pingzhuang in the East, Baihe Township in the south, Zheqiao town of Linxia city across Daxia River in the west, Liushu Township and Chuntai Township in the north. The area is 60.45 square kilometers. In 2018, 15933 people registered residence.

In the Qing Dynasty, the three guilds of guidongxiang. In 1950, Dongyuan township was established. In 1958, Dongyuan township was incorporated into Dongyuan commune.
