Tielou Tibetan Village
Tielou Tibetan Township, belonging to Wen County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is the only ethnic township in Wen County and one of the seven ethnic townships in Longnan region. It is located in the southwest of Wen County, adjacent to Chengguan town in the East, Danbao town in the south, Pingwu County in Sichuan Province in the southwest, Jiuzhaigou County in Sichuan Province in the northwest, Shifang town and Shijiba town in the north, 23.5km away from Wen County, with a total area of 317.64km2.
In March 1950, tielou Tibetan Township belonged to Xingwen District, with three townships, jingjiaba, Jiuzhai and tielou; in November 1983, tielou commune was changed into tielou Tibetan township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the township was 11068. As of June 2020, tielou Tibetan countryside has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in tielou village.
The main food crops in tielou Tibetan township are wheat, rice and corn; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep and poultry. In 2018, tielou Tibetan township has 4 industrial enterprises and 3 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In March 1950, it belonged to Xingwen District, with three townships of jingjiaba, Jiuzhai and tielou.
In May 1953, it still belonged to Xingwen District, with five townships of jingjiaba, weijiazui, Yanwuping, Jiuzhai and tielou.
In June 1955, the five townships merged into Yanwuping and tielou townships.
In April 1958, the commune was established, which belongs to Chengguan commune and is the tielou brigade.
In August 1960, tielou commune was established in Chengguan commune.
In November 1983, tielou commune was changed into tielou Tibetan township.
