Yuhe Town, belonging to Wudu District, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Wudu District, bordering Yangba town of Kang County in the East, Fengxiang Township and Ningqiang County of Shaanxi Province in the south, Fengxiang Township and Luotang town in the west, and Wuma Township in the north, 69.1km away from Wudu city. The total area is 265.6 square kilometers.
Before December 1949, Yuhe town was a part of Trojan horse and Taiping Township; in 2016, it was changed from Yuhe township to Yuhe town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Yu He town was 4950. As of June 2020, Yuhe town has 10 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of Yuhe town is located in zhaoqianba village.

History of construction
Before December 1949, it was a part of Trojan horse and Taiping Township.
In 1950, it was Yuhe, Lishu and Zhaoqian Township, belonging to the 89 joint district.
In August 1952, Yuhe and Shuimo townships were added.
In January 1953, it was Yuhe, Lishu, Yangba, Zhaoqian Township, belonging to Wuma district.
In July 1955, Zhaoqian township was changed into qingmuwang township.
In October 1958, they were qingmugang and Yuhe communes; in November, they were merged into Yuhe commune.
In December 1983, Yuhe commune was transformed into Yuhe township.
In October 2002, guanyinya village and qujiaan village were merged into Miaojiaba village and yujiahe village respectively.
In 2016, Yuhe township was changed from township to town.
