Xiehuqiao Town, belonging to Zhangxian County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Zhangxian County, adjacent to Sancha town and Yanjing Township in the East, Dacaotan and Sizu Township in the south, Jinzhong town in the southwest and Weiyuan County in the north, with an administrative area of 239.19 square kilometers.

History of construction

Before 1961, it was under the jurisdiction of Huichuan county and Longxi County.

In January 1962, it was under the jurisdiction of peacock District of Zhangxian county.

In May 1966, the Huqiao commune was built.

In February 1984, it was changed to Huqiao township.
