Taoyang town
Taoyang Town, subordinate to Lintao County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, is located in the middle of Lintao county. It is adjacent to Longmen town in the East, yujingya Xiaji town in the south, Kangle County of Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture in the West and Balipu town in the north, with an administrative area of 131 square kilometers.

History of construction
In August 1949, Xining town was established.
In May 1950, it was changed into Chengguan District.
In December 1955, Chengguan town was changed.
In September 1958, it changed its name to Hongqi commune; in October 1958, it changed its name to Chengguan commune.
In September 1983, it was changed into Taoyang town.
