Luyuan Town, subordinate to Weiyuan County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Weiyuan County, bordering Longxi County in the East, Lianfeng town in the south, qieyu Township in the west, Qingyuan town in the northwest and Beizhai town in the north, with an administrative area of 81.9 square kilometers.

History of construction
Before October 1949, it was Juyi township.
In October 1949, it was the Fourth District of Weiyuan County.
In July 1953, it changed its name to Lu Park.
In September 1958, it was the management area of Lianfeng commune Road Park. In December of the same year, Weiyuan County was abolished and assigned to Longxi County.
Before and after the restoration of Weiyuan County in December 1962, it was Luyuan commune of Lianfeng District Working Committee.
In July 1964, Luyuan commune was established.
